The title of Laureates of the First Degree Historical-Literary Competition Prize of David Agmashenebeli (David the Builder) of All Georgia was awarded to the following people:
Ms. Manana Chitishvili, for the poetic collection “Still it Was Called Georgia” and “One Hundred Poems”;
Mr. Alexandre Kurdadze, for popular scientific work “Choral of Vine and Wine”;
Mr. Nugzar Antelava, for the monograph “Abkhazian Myths, Rituals, Symbols”;
Mr. Anzor Totadze, for scientific works “Population of Georgia at the Verge of Second and Third Millennia”; and “History and Future of the Co-existence of Georgian and Ossetian Nations”;
Mr. Rezo Emelian Adamia, for the book “Bloody Tears”, and for finding and restoring the graphic works of Terenti Graneli.
The following people became the winners in the nominations of All-Georgian Historical-Literary Competition of David Agmashenebeli (David the Builder), and were awarded the title of the Laureate of the Competition:
Mr. Vazha Shubitidze, for the collection “100 Greatest Georgians of All Times” – the nomination of “Handbook”;
Mr. Shota Zoidze, for the publicist work “Golgotha of Georgia” – the nomination of “Those Who Care for the Nation”;
Mr. Soso Sigua, for the publicist trilogy “Martyr and Standard Bearer” – the nomination of “Writer and History”;
Mr. Evgeni Bliadze, for the historical-bibliographic study “Erekle II” – the nomination of “Life and Accomplishments of Georgian Kings”;
Mr. Boris Darchia, for the bibliographic study “Iakob Shemokmedebeli” – the nomination of “History of Literature”;
Mr. Aleko Aslanishvili, for documentary-bibliographic work “Lost Graves” – the nomination of “Animated Faces”;
Mr. Levan Dolidze, for the book “Generals from Georgia” – the nomination of “The History of Military Glory”;
Mr. Grigol Liparteliani, for documentary-publicist works “The World of Grigol Liparteliani”; and “Georgians in Petersburg: Historical Review and Present Days” – the nomination of Popularization of Georgian History Abroad;
The Prize in the nomination of “To Be Read for Teenagers” was awarded to two participants:
Ms. Lina Baratashvili, for the book “In Georgia there were born”;
Ms. Nunu Dzamukashvili, for the course of lectures “Life and Public Activities of David Agmashenebeli”;
The journalistic prize “Tanamokalme” (“Companion-in-writing”) was awarded to:
Mr. Teimuraz Koridze, for journalistic publication and book “Talks about Journalism”;
